Here are some of the best low-budget options for accommodation whilst starting out on internships. In Paris, decent hostels are around €27-35 a night for a dorm bed and we’ve found a low-end hotel for €32. Bargain!

Woodstock Montmartre by Hiphophotels – 48 Rue Rodier, 9th arr, 75009 Paris
A funky hostel with retro wallpaper in the dorm rooms. It’s in a good location, has a bar, garden, kitchen and breakfast is included. Great temporary accommodation whilst doing internships in Paris.

Le Regent Montmartre by Hiphophostels – 37 Boulevard Rochechouart, 9th arr, 75009 Paris
Clean, trendy hostel with a games room and shared kitchen. It’s 2.5 km to the Louvre and 3.8 km from the Arc de Triomphe.
Average price €29 for a bed in a dorm
Beautiful Belleville Hotel & Hostel – 12 rue de l’Atlas, 19th arr, 75019 Paris
As the name suggests, the hostel has got decent decor. Located 3.3 km to the Louvre and 6 km from the Arc de Triomphe.
Average price €31 for a bed in a dorm
Low-end Hotels
Hotel Luna Park – 1 Rue Jacquard, 11th arr, 75011 Paris
This might just be the cheapest hotel you can find in the area. It’s one-star and clean but don’t be expecting luxuries staying here while on internships in Paris. It’s really close to the metro and 2.2 km to Notre Dame Cathedral.
Average price €32 for a single room
Hotel Cosmos – 35 Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud, 11th arr, 75011 Paris
A great hotel for the price with satellite TV in each room. It’s close to the Place de la République and only 1.6 km from the Pompidou Centre.
Average price €73 for a single room
Other hotels: Try Premiere Classe and Hotel F1 chains for other cheap options.
Finding a Houseshare
Check out these sites for a houseshare while on hotel internships in Paris. Some rooms can even be rented per night, per week as well as per month. Expect to pay between €600-900 for a room in a flat/houseshare. Communicating in French is your best option. Room La La; Appartager; Le Carte des Colocs.
Getting Around
Using a Navigo card is the best way to travel around on internships in Paris on public transport. You can travel on the metro, RER, buses, trams and trains.
